Team Parents

Key Information

A Team Parent’s primary role is to help the Manager coordinate the team communications and logistics so that he/she can focus on coaching.
Training slides for the Spring season are provided above for Team Parents to review ; policies and procedures change from season to season so please check with your Team Parent Coordinator for the most updated information.
Team Parents should assist their Managers in assigning the team’s volunteer positions. Northwood Little League is managed and run all by volunteers. It is important to ask for everyone to help and do their part to make the league successful. Parents can pay a volunteer opt-out fee (per player enrolled) at Registration only. Everyone else must fulfill volunteer duties or they will pay a fine to the League.
Team Parents are required to complete a background check. Any questions can be emailed to the Compliance Officer at [email protected].
Uniforms will come pre-numbered with last names for the Spring ball season. For Fall ball season, the uniforms come pre-numbered without names, and the Team Parent and Coach will distribute them.
Hats can be embroidered with a player's last name, number or both. Please see Hat Embroidery below for instructions and prices.
Team Parents should set up a Team Management app to track games, practices, other events, as well as player availability. It should include a team roster with parent contacts for emergencies. Please check with your Team Parent Coordinator for the most updated information.
Lower Division teams usually make a team banner in the Spring. Please see Team Banners above below for instructions and special Northwood Little League coupon codes.
