In order to try to meet the League’s umpiring needs while keeping NWLL financially solvent, the Board of Directors has implemented the following: Each player registration for upper divisions (AA and above) will be assessed a $150 refundable fee.
To have the fee refunded, a family must satisfy 35 points (volunteers receive 25 points for plate umpiring, 10 points for base umpiring) for each player during the Spring season. Remember, you can have family, relatives, or friends satisfy the requirement, they just need to attribute it to your player when they sign up. Youth umpires will be entered to win raffles throughout the season.
Before signing up for games, volunteer umpires must attend one umpire clinic. Two clinics will be held for each season. You may register through the calendar of events on the home page, and an email with direct links is sent to league families in shortly after registration closes with details.
