Irvine, CA - Northwood Little League, home of the 1987 Little League World Series U.S. Champions, is excited to announce the opening of registration for the 2019 Spring Season. Come play real baseball with other Irvine kids! Our games and practices are at local Irvine fields, and your players will play with and against neighborhood buddies and school friends.

We welcome players of many ages and skill levels, from 3 1/2 year old boys and girls learning the game in Tee Ball to 13 and 14 year old experienced ball players in our upper divisions. Our Challengers Division enables boys and girls with physical and mental challenges to also enjoy the game of baseball in a safe and supporting environment. 

Details for our spring season are below:

Season runs February to May 2019

District and All-Star Tournaments in June and July for drafted divisions

• Ages 3 1/2 to 14
• Registration includes:
  • Personalized replica jerseys (name on the back) for drafted divisions
  • Minor league T-shirts for lower divisions
  • Baseball hat
  • Pants
  • Belt
  • Socks
  • Basic picture package
  • Trophies for all lower divisions
• Time commitment of 2-4 times per week depending on division
  • Field practices on weekday afternoons, starting in February
  • 15-25 games (fewer for Ice Cream Tee Ball) depending on division, starting in March
  • Ice Cream Tee Ball will have 1 game a week, on Saturdays
  • All other divisions will have 1 weekday afternoon game and 1 Saturday game each week
• All-Girls Tee Ball teams (other All-Girls teams pending)
• Opening Ceremonies, Picture Day, Angels Day, Closing Ceremonies and more!

Evaluations for 8-14 year-olds in AA and higher divisions will be in early January. Team assignments and the start of practices usually happen in late January/early February.
