Irvine, CA - The Mariners are the 2021 AA Northwood Tournament Champions! They had a tough road to the championship with 4 games in 4 days, and had to face the division winning Tigers for the second time after losing to them in an 8-7 contest earlier in the week. But the Mariners' top pitchers limited the Tigers' offense early in a tense game, and they entered the bottom of the sixth with a four run lead. Things really tightened up from there, as the Tigers scored 2 runs and had the winning run at the plate. The Mariners were able to hold on and get the final out to secure the win and the championship.

Congrats to Manager Ray Shih and the entire Mariners team for a gutsy victory and a great season!
