Former President Was Dedicated to the League

Irvine, CA - Northwood Little League lost a valuable member of its community this week. We are sad to share the news of the unexpected passing of our former president Jeremy Goldman. Jeremy was an inspiration and a mentor to many, and many people joined the league and the board through his tireless efforts.  He will truly be missed. He is survived by his wife Debra, and his three children Braden, Dylan and Makenna. Braden and Dylan both played in NWLL through the Majors division. Makena could often be found in the stands with her mom watching her brothers play and her dad coach. NWLL was a family affair for the entire Goldman family.

The league will be honoring Jeremy's memory in different ways, to be announced later. In the meantime, if you are so moved, you can help by contributing to the Jeremy Goldman Memorial Fund which will benefit his kids' college 529 plans. More info can be found here.

Jeremy's memorial service was held via Zoom and Facebook Live and can be found here.

Jeremy had a hugely positive impact on a lot of players throughout his time in NWLL. If you have a favorite quote, story or photo of Jeremy to share, please send it to amandalucile@hotmail.com. We'd love to compile them into something to be shared with the Goldman family.
