THIS WEEKEND IN NORTHWOOD LITTLE LEAGUE:
Opening Day Ceremonies have been postponed until we can have warmer weather with a much less chance of rain. How does Saturday, May 8th sound for a date to celebrate the end of the regular season for the Upper Divisions and get everyone pumped up for the Irvine Championship Baseball Tournament?
Sounds like a great day for a Carnival at Hicks Canyon Park.
Friday Night Baseball is on. Please bring your Opening Day enthusiasm to Hicks Canyon Park tonight and celebrate the beginning of our regular season with two exciting games.
6:30p - Hicks 1: The Baltimore Orioles host the Cleveland Indians in our AAA Division.
7:00p - Hicks 2: The Seattle Mariners travel to Chicago to take on the Cubs in our Major Division.
Saturday Games are still on as scheduled. We are looking at the possibility of moving some start times to earlier in the day. The Managers involved will notify their teams directly if this occurs.

NWLL is open to all players residing in Irvine, north/east of Interstate 5 and east of the 261 Tollroad.

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Rick and Laura Cabral family and their friends in our Challenger program. 18-year old Michael Cabral recently passed away due to complications from influenza. He was a nine-year Little Leaguer and along with his family, loved the game of baseball. The passion he showed for the game, and life, despite his disability should serve as an inspiration to us all.
